Head coach on Yorkshire Derby.
The Whites travel to Hillsborough, looking to get the three points in this highly anticipated Yorkshire Derby.
Bielsa gave an update on team news ahead of the fixture and spoke about the threat of Sheffield Wednesday and their style.
“All the matches are difficult, whatever position in the table the opposition are in, it’s always a hard game,” Bielsa said.
“Sheffield Wednesday’s style has changed, they’ve improved a lot, they are not easy to play against, they force opponents into mistakes and their players respond well to the managers tactics.
“They have good depth in their squad, more than one player for each position.
On the important of Tyler Roberts, following his recent return from injury. “Tyler is a player who likes to have the ball, he is a big character.
“He always receives the ball in front of the opponents box, where there are usually four players in front of him.
“To receive the ball there you have to have talent and character.
“Jamie Shackleton and Liam Cooper are fit, Pablo Hernandez is improving and is close to returning.
“Forshaw will be a bit longer as he still has the same injury, he is a great professional and is working hard to get back.
“We usually have the same starting 11 and their level of performance is usually the same. This season we are defending better.
“The lack of efficiency is not always linked to the striker, each team has a different way of scoring.”
“In the Championship the results don’t allow you to say any team is great, it’s very inconsistent.
“This year the team is better, the level of the players are better, we have more options in the squad.
“For example, Barry Douglas could replace Ezgjan Alioski and have the same level of performance. This is the same with Eddie Nketiah replacing Patrick Bamford.
